Rarity just sat down to enjoy a cup of tea when she heard her daughter calling her name down the hall.
Petal Jewel: "Hey, mom?"
Rarity: "Yes, Sweetie?" Rarity replied as she took a sip of her tea.
Petal Jewel: -walks around the corner bringing out a few items- "I was going through your closet to find some clothes for an upcoming photo shoot and happened to find a box, with these in it..?"
Rarity: -looked up and and spits out her tea, dropping the cup onto the floor- W-where did you find that box, persay? -Rarity tried to get the words out in between coughs-
Petal Jewel: -makes a smug look at her mother's expression- "I found it up on the shelf. I looked in the book and it seems to be you, mom. I thought you said this rough look was underrated?"
Rarity: -blushes and sighs out- "Well, you see Petal, I accidental took a cleaning remover that was meant for you aunt Pinkie Pie instead of the shampoo meant for me made by Zecora. My hair fell out and I struggled all day, for I had a shoot with Photo Finish for the most fabulous manes in Equestria that day. I had to cancel and your aunts, my friends, cheered me up by saying my beauty was on the inside. I decided to try that look so I can even go out in public! But, turns out, your aunts told Photo Finish the dilemma and asked to take photos of the beauty I had within. I had to wear that look for months until I grew my mane out."
Petal Jewel: -looks from the photos to her mother- "Hey mom, my photo shoot is about who i look up to that made me go into the fashion industry and modeling, somewhat a vintage photo shoot. Mind if I, take these in?"
Rarity: -looks surprised at her daughter- "B-but I have better things for your shoot! I-I have my old Grand Galloping Gala dresses, o-or my..."
Petal Jewel: -giggles and puts her hoof up to stop the babbling- "Mom, this inspired me more than any of your creations. I love the mom that shines with generosity, not with shiner or hairspray."
Rarity: -tears up and brings her daughter in for a hug- "Oh, I love you, Petal."
Petal Jewel: -snuggles into her mother- "I love you too, mom."
