Description
I wanted to do my spin on Princess Luna! I will be doing her other forms too, like Nightmare Moon and Younger Princess Luna.

In my head cannon redesign, Luna had some side affects from transforming into Nightmare Moon. Some noticeable changes were her coat and mane green darker and her wings are half batwings. She also had some slit pupils and fangs from the after affects.
Some things that just came to be as she matured and accepted her past was her mane, wings, face and hooves have shining stars on them like the night sky. They even shine like actual stars. Sometimes there are shooting stars in her wings!
One big thing in my head cannon that I took into consideration is that Celestia had to battle Luna in her Nightmare Moon phase. They must’ve fought hard, since Nightmare Moon wasn’t going to back down, so some scars must’ve been left and there must’ve been a final blow that made Celestia finally send her sister to the moon to trap her.
That’s where I added the scar. The final blow that ended Nightmare Moon’s terror way back when. Nightmare Moon was charging with full force down to Celestia as she was on the ground, barely any energy left. But she mustered all her will and magic and aimed it at poor Luna, aiming straight for her chest. Nightmare Moon tried to turn and get away from the blast but it struck her to the side of her chest, traveling down her left front left to above her right eye. She became partially blind in that eye, only to see blurs.
After many years gone by, and she finally reformed, Luna came to accept her scar, as a reminder of what once happened and to challenge her to become better. For formal affairs, she wears a formal robe that covers up her chest and leg.
