Awesome photo, what kind of level and layers editing you used to get this great effect?

Thank you! I used several layers... a few filters, a paper texture, and a whole lot of messing around.
I just work one change at a time, doing adjustments along the way until I find something that clicks.

I kinda do this too... But this aspect that you got in this photo I find hard to get... What do I have to do, I mean, try putting what kind of layers to get this, I don't know, "old school" effect? In my last shot, Memories, (please come see it if you haven't) I was able to do this that I'm asking you, but I followed a tutorial with all the numbers to use on the layers and etc, so it doesn't count. I hope I was clear on what I tried to say

I hear you... I just didn't follow anything exact... kind of played around until things felt right. I don't really remember exactly what that was.
Some tricks I like to use to get a vintage effect (I'm not sure I did it here, but I might have!) is to duplicate the layer, and then do a gradient map of green and red on the top layer, then bring the opacity down to a very small percentage. It works really well to give a vintage look.
I also use a cross-processing filter sometimes, and in this case I do know I used a layer of paper texture on top.
Hope that is more helpful!

Very helpful! I'm trying to use some odd layers to get various different aspects so it came out useful
Thank you very much
