about a 2' piece of copper piping, a 1"-2" conduit, and a screw adapter, silver solder, leather, and a whole lot of gumption. most of it was dremmel work to clean it up, and I hand drilled the holes at the top. when it gets hit, it gives off a unique "ding". I'm rather proud of it, over a year of use in combat and the leather hasn't peeled off, and its very solid.
