^_^ That's good. :3 An artist once said that creativity is pretty much making a bunch of mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. ;3 I'm struggling on hands as well....but getting better. Some tips for hands is to look and lots of refs and just keep on drawing them till you got it mastered. ^_^ As for backgrounds, just be creative! C: and as for shading, I do have a video on my way of doing it if your interested. But yeah. mastering something only takes determination, motivation, practice, and patience. You'll get where you want to be in time. ;3

Well, I do love being creative and I love drawing so I do have my mistakes
even if people can't see them. Every time I make a really nice drawing, it's
hard for me to even sell it!! For backgrounds, I'm still looking for
references especially when designing something.

Yeah...sometimes I show someone my pictures and I say it has a lot of mistakes in it, or I could do better, and the other person is in shock or something...saying it's already perfect, but not in my eyes. ;3 Many artists can be so critical in their own work, it's true. X3 And it's good what your doing, looking for refs. That's one great way in the path of learning or improving what you can't or can already do. But don't try thinking to hard though! XD When thinking of something to draw that is. Also known as art block. 1st thing is, art block in a way, doesn't exist. When you have "art block" you already have an idea in mind already, you just don't think it's good enough. And if you think too hard in finding a good idea, your brain will literally block parts of the mind to find things to put together and make connections, but can't since it's looking to hard. Now THAT'S art block. When your thinking too hard. It's the same situation when you know a word, but can't recall it. So relax! An idea will come eventually. You never know when something will trigger an idea. ;3 yeah sorry for this looong comment. XDD Sometimes I find it hard to find and start a conversation and just, talk you know.

Yeah, I really do criticize my drawings A LOT. It's like
I HAVE to add a negative comment on each of them. 1_____-
I haven't been thinking hard. I usually remember the things
that I already planned without hurting myself.
So I'm good with thinking.
The only time I have art blocks are in comics. -______-
