About my photograph, you can centre it differently and you're not obliged to do the pieces of things around my face (dvd, hat...) You can invent the rest, I trust you.
I think I'll paint you on a canvas about 40 x 50 cm (poor little unemployed girl who can't buy big canvas...lol)

How long does it take you to paint something like this?

Actually I can't tell you exactly the number of hours but I paint every day 5 or 6 hours and I paint several canvas at the same time.
Especially for this one I spent many times to make the background.
For me, the figures are more simple but the background define the atmosphere and it's more difficult for me to create it.
On this canvas there is 3 different paintings, but at each time I wasn't convinced so I put a coat of white paint or gesso.

I can't make myself sit any longer than 4 hours most times when I paint unless I have a deadline, heh. And I certainly don't paint everyday.
But I will once I'm out of school.

i always use acrylic, for the background that time i used a lot of water to make like with watercolour.
