I know you've written that it was a joke, but it really wasn't funny. It does belong to Jill because she's the photographer and I was there when this picture was taken.
Jill is extremely talented as a photographer, she is one of the best, and her art should be treated for what they are: brilliant photography. The picture does not belong to the model. In the end, the photographer is the one who puts down a lot of work in making us models look amazing.
I'm sorry to rant on you like this, but your joke wasn't funny and Jill and her art work should be treated with more respect.

Word. All of this, Charlie. One of the things that makes me and Mattias able to enjoy publicity for our cosplays if Jill's brilliant photography. We cannot stress enough how amazing we find it that she wants to photograph us, or how astonished we are by how we look in every one of her pictures. Working with Jill is one of the best parts about cosplaying, for me. And to see her get any less attention and appreciation for her work than she deserves truly irritates me. Not that I believe that the commenter up there meant any harm by their comment, but it's true as you say; this picture belongs to Jill and only Jill, and when we are allowed to be the ones to post pictures, it's because we know the most generous photographer in history.
