The opening day races started at 6:30 so they went on till well after the sun went down. Some of my favorite shots were ones right after the sun went down and the sky is that amazing cobalt blue.this is one of my favorite shots from the day, it did nothing for my teacher though...he obviously has no taste lol

Ohmigosh I love this photo! yes i agree your teacher has no taste. I was wondering if you would please give me permission to paint it? Its so beautiful! THe horse looks like hes looking at the finish line! and of course I'll give you the credit due and everything.
