Scootaloo: Wow! I can't believe I found more of Rainbow Dash's feathers! I mean, she flies so fast that she must lose a couple, but she must have made something so awesome for losing that much.
She quickly but carefully caught all the feather between her tooth. After catching all of them, she headed toward her house, smiling and humming.
Rainbow Dash: *groan*
S: Huh? Is there somepony...
She ran on the direction of the source of the sound and found her idol laying on the ground.
S: *gasp* Rainbo... Damn!
She put the feathers down, holding them with a hoof.
S: Rainbow Dash? Are you okay?
RD: Do I look okay?
S: Uh... Yeah?
RD: *groan* Well, I'm not! I totally missed that... uh...
Dash saw the sparkles in the filly's eyes.
RD: Uh.... I mean, it was intentional. It's... to scare my fans thinking that I crashed, then I take off to surprise them.
S: Really? Wow! So realistic!
RD: Yeah. Uh, what do you mean?
S: At first sight I would never thought that big cut there was real or your wing seamed broken... Hey your leg look it would-
RD: What?! Ahhhh! IIII mean... y-yes! I.... I used make-up.. lot of it and...
She began to walk away backward, limping and wincing.
RD: Uh... I think I should have waited to master it before putting some, so... if you excuse me, I'll wash them off.
S: Can I come?
RD: Uh... Hey! Are those my feathers?
S: Yup! Unless you want them back?
RD: Huh? Um... Nah. Keep them. Souvenir, you know? *nervous laugh*
S: Yay!
RD: Now if you.... whoa...
Dash lost balance and fell on the grass.
S: Rainbow Dash! Are you okay?
RD: *sigh* Call Twilight. I think I need to go to the hospital.
S: Oh. I'll go fetch Twilight. Don't move.
She ran in the direction of the castle, leaving the feathers of the ground. Dash sighted and glance upon them
RD: Nah. I don't think I can put them back anyway.

Aw. This reminds me of that comic from way back when wherein Scoots grows up to make herself a rocket pack. Or something along those lines.

Lol. Just imagined a molting Rainbow Dash zooming by overhead to try and hide herself from public view while her new feathers grew in. Scoots just happens to be in the right place and barely registers the feathers flying from Dash's wings.
