Description
Just a simple leg swap with Classics Cyclonus' legs for the lazy/less-handy customizers out there. I'm surprised that they look so nice with the figure. The original thread I started over at TFW2005 can be seen here: [link]
Soundwave3k came up with a cool turret mode that uses this leg swap.

But then my Cyclonus won't have any legs... (Great idea, though! Cyclonus's legs are the shit, and Shockwave's are just shit. Seriously, what's up with his feet?! His knees are always bent backwards, and not in the awesome digitigrade way!)

I'm trying to track down a BiS Cyclonus so I can cannibalize it for parts so I can keep my original, Classics one in one piece
The FoC figure's neat, but he's a tad bit too small for me and his legs suffer from the figure being able to transform into a faithful representation of the alt mode that he has in the game. I just hate how all the weight is balanced on the crappy heels that form the fake cannon muzzle in alt mode and the lack of articulation, which doesn't make him all that posable.

The Battle in Space Cyclonus is the one I have. I can tell you right now, though, its purple is much, much lighter than FoC Shockwave's. The Classics Cyclonus will probably work better with Shockwave's color palette.
The thing that bothers me most about FoC Shockwave is the lack of a balljointed head. I guess it would have been harder to put the light piping into his head if he had a balljoint, but it would have added so much character if one could pose him tilting his head down in contempt.

That's what paint's for
BiS Cyclonus is much easier to get and a lot cheaper.
It's possible to modify him to have a balljointed neck, but it's such a pain to remove his head and even then, it's pretty much impossible to disassemble it for painting. deliciouspeter actually had to use a hacksaw to remove the head to install a balljoint: [link]

Another guy actually removed the head somehow with a soldering iron, though I think he plans to use a different head.

EEP. O.O I can't do either of those.
Is he really cheaper? O.o I'd think he'd be a bit harder to find?

Nah. The 3 pack one seems easier to find. Some stores still even have the 2 pack on discount.
For now I'm just painting the pink chest piece and the cannon.

Oops. That was a typo I meant tr 2 pack.
The 3 pack's an expensive exclusive with all the Unicron fellas in translucent plastic.
