i tried to make a HTTYD-esque dragon species 8V it looks like an odd cross between a nadder, nightfury and a zippleback sob im horrible at making dragons

anyways this chubby pal is a Nibblestinger (CREATIVE NAMES), and gets the name from the stinger it carries at the end of its whip-like tail, and its pathetic bite-force. Seriously, this Nibblestingers jaw is only filled with tiny sharp teeth, with the occasional tusk jutting out. The teeth are mostly for tearing, and does little damage in terms of biting. Hence the name NIBBLER.

The main weapon is its VENOM. Which is naturally occuring in their saliva. They coat the barb like stinger on their tail with ther drool, and use it as a way to get the contents in a prey or foe by jabbing and whipping the tail (THINK SCORPION!).

They’re quick fliers (hence the nightfury-stolen wing like shape), evidently not as quick as a Night Fury , obviously, but still fast enough to strike with surprise (despite their tubbiness). They’re somewhat clumsy on land.

Colour scheme usually ranges between Red, Dark blue or green. Underbelly is always yellow/lime coloured. Pattern varies from irregular stripes, tiger stripes or uneven spots.
