Description
From the Sketch Fest #37 prompt "ugly in others eyes, but not mine". When I think "so ugly it's beautiful" I think Aughra, my favourite character of The Dark Crystal. I have the book (the new version) which as a big black and white photo of her in it so I used that for reference. I lightly sketched her and instead of inking her I coloured her straight away, using brush tip markers and adding some highlights with a white gel-pen. I'm really happy with how she turned out, I think I've captured her likeness pretty well (it's all them wrinkles, makes it easier).

Size 2½ x 3½ inch.
