I saw something like this in a little shop in London (where I was for a 4-day-trip with my sister in October) and felt like I could make it too. As a surprise I made this one for my sister as a Christmas gift, using colours I knew she liked.Obviously my version is a little different from what I had seen, having to work from memory (and my memory not being one of the greatest), but I kinda like that. It makes the piece more my own than a replica.

I'd say about one evening, but my evenings are rather long. Somewhere between 5 and 6 hours I guess, but also because I had a lot to figure out. I don't know. Looking back I see it was a lot of work, but it didn't feel like that
