Just when you think you've done everything with skin, something new pops up. This one started with the rather strange video of Love Lockdown by Kanye West, featuring African warriors and at one point, scantily clad ladies in black light painting.

I really liked the idea (and the song quickly grew on me) so hence this drawing. I drew more of her than you can see, the original drawing included a breast and most of her ribcage (both with paint). But the balance was all wrong, like a triangle on its tip, leaning to one side. A good set of hips would have corrected the problem, but as I was already in the process of colouring when I realized what the problem was, cropping was the easiest solution.

For colouring I used only black, a little white, RGB blue (with 50% black for the background an shading), RGB cyan and RGB magenta (neither shaded as this is reflective paint). As a result the effect is pretty much as it should be, the paint does seem to light up.

I did use a little artistic liberty here and there, I don't believe teeth and the whites of the eyes actually reflect black light. But otherwise the picture would have been less strong.
