Description
From cool and dark to warm and soft. It's not so much the colours but the contrast between them that make gemstones interesting I think. Though technically speaking fossilized wood isn't a stone I guess. I don't know, it's pretty anyway.I hadn't planned on giving her such a wrinkled shirt, it just sort of happend while I was inking. I like though

This looks great! ^^
And fossilized wood definately IS stone. Maybe it didn't start out like it, but 1000's of years made up for it

It's not really a gemstone though, I mean, it's not found in the gemstone and mineral books I have.
Of course that doesn't mean it's not pretty

Pretty it is!
(Btw, it IS in Tineke's gemstone book So, maybe it really is a borderline case? Even for the specialists XD)

Maybe my book is just out of date. Another stone I've just used isn't in it and I don't know its name darn it

I remembered I had another book, a bit newer (the wood is in it), but no mookite to be found. Luckily I have an American bead shop in my favorites that sell gemstones as well. Found it like that (though I have a feeling the Dutch is moakiet).
