Description
Freckles this time, which turned out to be the trickiest skin thing so far. Getting those freckles right wasn't easy, so when I was finally happy with what I had done with one arm I used the clone stamp to make the rest a little easier. At first I had autumnal colours in mind for this picture, but as I was drawing it I felt I wanted to make a cute picture even cuter. I wanted bright, sunny colours (probably linked to the Pushing Daisies marathon I had a few days before), so I added 2 large sunflowers to the picture and edited a photo of a field of sunflowers for the background. I eliminated all the black of the line work (even in the eyes), giving each object a line colour suiting the inside colouring, to soften up the whole lot.
The whole turned out pretty much as I had in mind (always good), this picture really makes me smile

Freckles are cute (though I believe not all freckled people feel like that). That's why I felt that for this picture (that just had to be cute all over) I wasn't going to stop at just the face

Freckles rarely stop at the face
I have summerfreckles myself. It's like I don't tan in 1 go, but in all these tiny specks of colour. Mostly face and shoulders...

Especially after a picture such as Dirt. It's good to keep doing something different and this series lends itself perfectly for it
