Addition to my Tirn Aill Scenes Series; everyday situations of random characters in their enviroment, inked with black, sepia and/or sanguine inkpens and fully coloured with markers.

In 1999 I made a drawing with a dragon in an underground lake, all kinda spooky and such. Looking back at it now it's not badly drawn but the dragon's head I sorta copied from a book (so not original) and the body had the typical humps sticking out of the water (so anatomically incorrect) and the whole looks a little amaturistic. But I still liked the idea of it.

I decided to not so much redo the drawing but just take that idea of dragon in red water (which is red because of this type of algae that lives on the bottom of the lake and yes I just made that one up. My world, my rules ).
I used a water-dragon I had developed myself, for the comic, a few years back (by the name of Iyagot), with a body that bends the right way (from side to side, not up and down) and I didn't draw the entire lake (the format was wrong for this series) but I did want to show that bit of dragon that's underneath the surface (also, I changed a few details of dragon I wasn't happy with).
