Description
This time I know the stone
I have several beautiful ones in different colours and patterns which I will be using for the next pictures.
Instead of adapting the colours of the stone to the drawing, like I did with the previous picture, I picked colours from the stone to use for the skin and such. This series will not be so much about complicated drawings as it will be about my favorite subject; usage of colour

Het haar is hier inderdaad echt een aandachtstrekker, erg mooi gedaan. De manier waarop het valt is erg overtuigend en de manier waarop je de individuele haren impliceert maar niet allemaal echt helemaal uittekent is ook erg geslaagd.

Het haar zo kleuren is niet ingewikkeld als je eenmaal de handigheid er in hebt, bezit van tekentablet met pen is wel een vereiste.
Ik begin met een enkel kleurvlak en trek dan lijnen met het burn/doordrukken gereedschap (penseelmaat 20-30px). Doordat je over sommige lijnen meerdere keren gaat krijg je vanzelf verschillende schakeringen. Dan vergroot ik de penseelpunt om hier en daar het haar in 1 keer donkerder te maken en vervolgens gebruik ik het dodge/tegenhouden gereedschap (ook in groot penseelformaat) om highlights aan te brengen.
Ik moet alleen afleren met inkt haarlijntjes te trekken als ik van plan ben de boel met airbrusheffect te kleuren. Eigenlijk hoef ik dan ook het zwarte haar niet te inkten, maar ja, automatisme hรจ.

The way it's tied or the dye-job or both?
It's a litte tricky trying to figure how the top colour looks in each different hairdo, but at the same time that's the fun of it. A reason to stick with one character for a whole series. Though I have to try and keep the face the same
