Some years ago I designed a website for a pet shop and I was asked to take a look at it again, remove certain bugs, maybe revamp it bit. I decided it would be cool to add some mascots to the site, in the shape of cartoon-like figures out of the shop's pets. Sully the miniature bulterrier belongs to the owner of the shop and walks around freely and Spot sorta belongs to all the staff and also walks around freely. What better examples to use for mascots then those two?

I sketched Sully while I was in the shop, so I could give the owner an idea of what I was thinking of, and at home I just inked that sketch as I was so pleased with the first try out (this breed has such a round nose bridge, it's ideal for this style of drawing). Drawing Spot was easy, I would be using the style I use for my baby character and The Baby has a cat as well so I already knew how to proceed, and apart from that I actually still had a few photos of Spot taken when I first designed the site.

I do hope the owner is pleased with it, at the moment of posting here he hasn't seen the final result yet. But either way, I'm pleased
