Description No matter how hard one tries, no digital image can ever come close to film.

Irregardless, this is an amazing photo. I prefer this one over the color version. I actually thought it was film. Could've fooled me!

Actually if you scan a film image, its digital, its an image and close to film...

Don't play semantics with me >_<

Regardless, unless you get it scanned professionally by like, a high res drum scanner, the scan will never be anywhere nearr the print.

seriously - have you compared a good film print (especially one painstakingly done by hand) with a scan - whether it be of print or neg? big difference.

even with a big drum scanner, it's not quite the same.

regardless, no image born of digital can ever match film.
