I love the colors, like everyone else said, the detail, and the composition. It must have taken a while to get him at precisely the right moment for this piece.
The blurred background also works perfectly.

I photograph at concerts too, do you think your canon 50mm is a good choice for such a job? Because I've read, that this lense has huge problems with the focusing. But it's sooo cheap and I want it! Dang!

Well, 50mm with the 1.6 crop factor of the XT = 80mm equivalent. So yah. I was still a little in his face though. Don't think I cropped this one...
