Anywho, after the juvenile hawk "flew the coop", we had no idea where it would go, when it would fly, etc. And out of the blue earlier this month, poof, it appears on our small palm tree in the backyard. Perhaps it flying tree-to-tree? The nest is close by. I took this through the window in my parents room, the only place that has a clear window to the backyard, as the lanai is screened in. It was cool to simply watch it from our own house and ironic it landed in our tree.

I've only seen the parents and the juvenile, but I wouldn't be surprised if another shows up soon. I don't know how old the juvenile's have to be before they can find a mate.
