Description And so my Northern Pegasus takes flight amidst a redwood inspired forest! I have been really working on the turnaround time of taking my ideas and transforming them into finished works. For example, I made a little doodle of Take Off over the weekend on a sticky note and then I started sketching it two days ago... and here we are today! I really like challenging myself and seeing where my art will take me. For this particular piece, a few challenges for me included making the texture of leaves in the trees and creating the the lighting inside the forest, as well as making a gradient sky over such a large, uninterrupted area. One area of improvement for me is getting away from rigid line art. I built up the blue tones on my pegasus before giving her a light outline. Anyways, I hope you like it and I will see you next time!

Supplies: 25 Copic markers, 1 black Copic multiliner, Prismacolor Verithin pencils, and Prismacolor Col-Erase pencils on Strathmore 300 Series Bristol

It varies greatly piece to piece, but for this one it took about 15 hours. Thank you for your appreciation!
