So, I realized today that I've yet to actually draw anything yet in my brand new 2016 sketchbook (*sweats nervously*) and decided that I had to make something absolutely incredible for the first page to break it in and make it feel less 'too sacred to sully with silly arts'!Gogglebeast is the most RADICAL DOG
(this was intended to be as ridiculous as possible (down to the amazingly impossible twisty anatomy), but for something that was originally gonna be intentionally... bad... I actually like how it came out! I think I may do some heavy inks and markers to make it as bright as possible. Also, maybe some shiny stickers. |Da)
I don't usually post just sketches here b/c I never know how to make them look 'nice' (and it feels kinda weird to post unfinished stuff? idk) but maybe I should start?

Ahhh, thank you so much! 8D IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I SKETCHED ANYTHING TRADITIONALLY... but I'll definitely work on sharing more sketches/unfinished things in general then! (I honestly love seeing people's sketches too, b/c A) more arts and B) it's really neat to see people's processes, as well as what their less polished stuff looks like? so I guess I should apply this mindset to my own posting!) <3

Oh man, that was me but opposite for the longest time; I could NOT sketch digitally for the life of me XDD Practice is helping, but I still do loads better traditionally if I'm going for detail! (digital is so nice though, it's so much easier to fiddle/fix things. also, flipping the canvas?? I wish I could ctrl-z in my sketchbook)
