1.Prussia fought 3 wars to create the German Empire (against Denmark and against Austria). France was the last one so why not go and annoy him? Germany and Prussia's uniforms are from a painting about the event.2.Revenge is sweet. After the World War the allies tried to do everything to humiliate the Germans. Only Wilson, the US president warned that Germany would take revenge. He was right wasn't he? The treaty of Versailles was in the summer 1919 if you want to be precise... In Hetalia terms the creation of one Empire out of two is like a marriage (like Austria-Hungary) so Gilbert is talking about devorce XD.
