DOAWK are the initials I have not read in a long while...oh, did you know I was a Diary of a Wimpy Kid fan before the Beano? I remembered when I was inside the fandom, loads of people and most of its fan stories were inside a famous subreddit: r/lodeddiper (funny how they named it after Rodrick's band!) and made a few friends every now and then. Since then, i'm not part of the fandom anymore but I still had most of the collection (I am only missing two books but I don't think I need them since I read them somewhere else) but I decided to look back at these books every now and then. I still felt some nostalgia and I felt like DOAWK was the most chill and at the same time the most chaotic fandom i've been in (according to my experience). Enough of that, I decided to draw my favourite character (as you all can tell by now the way I constantly draw her and even have her as my profile pic) as if she were in the Wimpy Kid universe!

I tried to modify it a little so it fits the artstyle. I had experience thanks to me constantly drawing Wimpy Kid stuff back then, so this was no problem building up the sketch and the lineart. I was originally going to colour but soon enough, I'd rather keep it black and white to fit in the style. Honestly, I thought it felt a bit real to me(though i'm not sure if I managed to get the style right)! xD

I don't have anything else to say so i'm going to conclude everything else here now. I have a digital artwork in progress (as you see from my status post, though idk if any of you see them) and it's based off an old illustration inside an old Beano comic so be looking foward if you wish! I can't promise when I will finish so it'll take a while. Anyways, have a good day!

(i'm trying my best to draw more things other than Minnie. i like her a lot but sometimes, you can't draw the same things everytime otherwise it'll get boring T_T)
