Decided to try out my new camera lens that I got for Christmas on this full moon tonight. It's soo hard to keep the camera still for a picture like this so I ended up taking about 15 photos and this was the best shot I got

Thank you! I use a Canon G9 12.1 mega pixel camera with 6x optical zoom and 24x digital zoom and for this picture I added on my 2.2x optical lens

Nice shot! I don't own a tripod. The one time I really wished I had one was when CMP shut down the power to our entire neighborhood to do something or other. It was pitch-black, and the stars were bright. I was still using the old camera then, and I couldn't get it to see the stars... Oh well, I have some pictures from that night anyway. I think I'll upload those.

I uploaded them. They're the red ones. I took a red-light and photographed some pretty usual objects. I would have gone outside to do some, but it was like 4AM and I could barely keep my eyes open.

yeaa even with my tripod, my camera was still shaking all over. I had my camera on 19x zoom plus my 2.2x lens on top of that. So what is that...21.2x zoom or 41.8x zoom...hmmm idk...but either way you look at it, because it was zoomed in so much, it was still shaking, especially because I still had to push the button to take the picture. I was just lucky with this one

Yeah I use a tripod and wireless remote so there's no movement of the camera. Although...I just realized that my tripod broke and my brother stepped on the charger to the remote and broke that..
So damn, that sucks.

This was my second. My first one, oy...it was plugged into my camera that was on the tripod on what I didn't realize was an uneven floor and when I went to walk away, the whole thing fell over and landed right on the side it was plugged into and broke it. It also broke my camera and I had to spend 388$ to get it fixed. In the 6 years I've had it, that was the first and only time I ever dropped my camera.
