the sun was warma soft glow, casting gold over ever leaf and baring the darkest of colours a vibrant hue.
it was lovely
the flowers, sweet like milk and honey, brushing up against his frame and adorning him like royalty
unspoken appreciation
he turned towards the house, a familiar comfort greeting him from the porch
white hair
small smile
open arms
he had seen this face before, in his dreams
but he moved not an inch, a small purr rippling from his tired lungs
their words were warm
a soft glow, casting gold over ever part of him, turning every ounce of his soul a vibrant hue
it was lovely
it was time.
