You waded through the waist deep razor weed, your clothes specifically made for the purpose protect you from the lethal weeds eager to drink a mortal’s blood.
Before you rises a church in ruins, a place of protection for the artifact within still lives and pushes back the darkness. But that is not your destination.

You stand atop a cliff looking down at the sea and a great city falling to ruin. You smell salt and decay but your objective lies below.
Above the sky is filled with giant black serpents, their bodies intertwined constantly writhing. Only small rays of sunlight peak through their mass.

Three figures join you, your goal the same as theirs. Maybe with their help you can succeed. You begin the descent.
