Description Despite the fact that she's not going to Midlands Expo, I've completed props for my sister's Toon Link cosplay. Shield is entirely cardboard and paper machΓ©, while the sword is a bamboo stick with cardboard and machΓ© with clay for the decorations.

(well, technically I need to paint the Triforce on the other side of the sword, but shush)

If I may ask, what's the size of both the sword and shield? You know, the width and height and stuff?

For my sister, who is vaguely Toon Link sized at 4'9, the shield is 24cm wide and 29cm long, and the sword is 75cm long and 25cm wide. The shield in particular might need resizing for a taller person, but those are the dimensions I used.

Well, most of them look fine from a distance, but messy up close. Like my gloves, and my armour. Loose threads everywhere.

Lol well it is for Toon Link anyway, so it's okay if it looks a bit smaller or even cartoonish :3. You can always go back and fix them later on if you want too

Nah, it'll be a while before she wears it anyway. And I tried to keep it to scale with Toon Link and my sister, so smaller is fine ^^ Just need to finish the costume before she stops being small and cute xD
