Description
A small collection of sketches I've done during life drawing sessions. Rough and gestural two-minute poses on newsprint, definitely not the approach I'm used to-- plus I'm still new to the whole process of working from live models.
I realize these sketches kinda suck, I just thought I'd give you guys a quick glimpse into how I'm trying to improve outside of the clothing studies you've already seen. Life drawing courses are a good way to improve your anatomy and figurework, you should definitely look into it if you're ever offered the chance.
This is the only time I'll ever post stuff from this class (unless I miraculously stop being terrible at using charcoal on huge newsprint pads) so no need to worry about seeing this stuff again

I really like the way you drew the anatomy details on each figure here

Nice lines as always, but in terms of life drawings, your models are a bit stagnant. Gotta stress on "feeling" the movement man. Imagine as if you yourself were doing the pose and draw from that feeling.
These are good but don't always do them like this (I found reference for what "feeling guesture" looks like: www.squidooimages.balletpainte… and fredhatt.com/blog/wp-content/u…
Gotta let go and go with the flow of the body's connections in motion.
Also, ^^^ I want in on that rubber chicken action.
