and then redraw a nicer version and fail to capture what ever made it awesome.

yeah, it loses energy I did all my coffee monsters as sketchs and then I would redraw themΒ
its amazing how easy it was to change the look and they are really simple drawings.
i think some time we for get the difficulty of what we are doing when we put lines and paperΒ
and create an illusion of realityΒ
