Yeah, you managed to catch me at the late point in a sketch, so I added Centauri quickly, which is why's she's squeezed in so far in the back.

Well, it's more like this - Back in June 2015, I applied for Planet AFL, just because it was AFL. No strings attached - But over the course of it, I finally decided to join the DU. That epilogue took me a bit longer to finish than expected, so it wasn't done until this June. And I couldn't take part in challenges, because I didn't want to ruin the surprise on that last page.

Come this Summer Challenge and I had no real desire to join in with another Otherworld adventure, as I had already wrapped that up in my Planet AFL epilogue and felt that it would be too soon to bring Vitium back. But then I found out that apparently I was low on points. I was also going away for a few weeks, so I wouldn't be able to contribute anything for June-July, only August.

It took a lot of haggling, but we finally worked out a deal.

I'm thinking of doing something for the try-outs, yes. Whether if Virtus makes the cut for Thunderforce... Well, you'll just have to wait and see.

I know, right? Makes for good drama in situations like these. No matter how much power a character has... They can't be everywhere at once. I think that's a point a lot of people forget when they call out certain characters for being OP.

OP can happen, but yes.  There's ways to make sure that the Man of Steel isn't actually OP.  I like seeing those things done.  It gives depth to the character.

Well, for this set-up page, I really just wanted to establish how big our group was and their defiance in the face of these overwhelming odds. And yeah, you know me, I do love to draw lots of characters.

Also, I wanted to test out a perspective shot - The result may not be the best, but there are some that look better than others, so hey, at least that's some artistic progress. ^^

Yeah, no, even I have limits. My last three pages were originally planned to be longer, but as time ran out, I had to shorten them down. I rushed out page 5 (originally supposed to be scrapped) because I had a little reprieve, so I'm lucky I managed to get them in. I'll try and not cut things so close next time. ^^ And above all, I need to cut down on making my sequences so darn long!

I think you did a great job. It really added to the story

After all, I know what I wanted to do with this challenge, but all I can do with my intros and outros is lay the foundation.
What you people do is just as crucial.
Otherwise I wouldn't be offended if someone runs off to tell pony stories, when it really wasn't the time for that

You and several others really helped out this month.
But this ... you always go the extra distance and bring things full circle like nobody else.
I didn't expect anybody but me to touch the Secret Wars topic ( you see in the outro, what I mean ).

I'm just having fun and trying to tell a good story in the process.
