Tis a very vibrant shot, I like the flow of the water, especially the sort of cataractic milky look of it at the bottom, reminds me a bit of post card though.Maybe its to straightforward...and maybe thats a good thing. Anyways haven't spoken to you in awhile sir, you doing alright?
Oh and I made up the word cataractic!

i'm doing... had a slight run-in w/the man and as a result got deferred from the peace corps for a year, so the last three-four weeks have been no photography & lots of get-my-life-back-in-order. good stuff--lot of biking & forcing my resume on folks. it's always an adventure to change directions very, very abruptly, ya know?
cataractic! interesting--any specific definition/usage you had in mind? haha me and some buddies made up the word mepiphilous...
and about the shot: i'm on the fence. i think its nice but it's not what i was trying to do... the water is right and the rest is off somehow. couldn't seem to frame the scene correctly. but meh. always another day.
what's new in your scene? cheers!

Well thats to bad to hear about your "run in with the man," very cute way to put it by the way, but I am glad your enjoying the spontaneity of it all.
Cataractic - a newly created adjective meaning milky and hard to see through, deriving from the word cataract. Whats your word mean?
I agree with the not being able to frame it correctly, it just seemed that way, but all in all, better than I can do. Although I haven't actually shot anything in quite awhile.

// meh-PIH-fill-uhs
most often utilized in place of an adjective or adverb; 'mepiphilous' is used to fill either a linguistic void (ie: no appropriate word exists to fill the role of adverb or adjective or words DO exist but tend to convolute rather than inform) or a mnemonic void (ie: there is a word but the speaker/writer is unable to retrieve that word for effective in conversation or writing.)
*'mepiphilous' CAN be used in varying contexts throughout the course of a singular conversation without penalty; furthermore, continued usage in disparate contexts over the course of multiple conversations can act as a lever for social awkwardness or entertainment (you watch while a person looks confused and nods--even after many exposures to the word--in order to avoid having to feel like and idiot after asking "what does meh-PIH-fi-whatever mean?")

Wonderfully luscious greens. I like the clarity and the smooth surface of the flowing water.

it's a shame, yes... but there are people who still care.
