the thing hardly even toughed down; i jumped out and it immediately pulled up, spun away and sped back down the shore to the landing.april 2007

very cool, great colours in this shot, but personally i think it might have been cooler with a lower aperture and then a slower shutter speed so you would get the same amount of light over a different amount of time and get some cool blur out of the rotor blade

i agree... unfortunately, if i remember correctly, the ap was maxed & i was hoping to just make the shot... the poise of the chopper was all dumb luck. it was about 2 seconds between when i got out and when the thing took off. a good though, though. something to keep in mind for the future. /m

yeah it must have happened very fast, little time to be twisting dials and such. the composition is great though thats good luck
