Series 48: Interceptor- Light assault spaceship for close extraplanetary defence.-------------------------------------
A concept design for a spaceship. I love drawing these but sometimes it's hard to justify to myself why its so "planey" besides the fact that it just feels right. There's no air resistance in space of course. I blame pop culture. Maybe I'll do something more original later...

Control surfaces are useful if you ever need to maneuver in atmosphere, and in space it's a problem to get rid of heat, so 'wings' may actually just be radiators.
They also make dandy hardpoints.
