Back when I was in college, one of my favorite pastimes was to grab a couple National Geographics out of our stack and draw a combination of whatever animals they featured. When I left college I no longer had access to the magazines, so I whipped up this little app. I find it comes up with more outlandish suggestions than I would have ever come up with on my own.I hope to be able to post some of my critters shortly. Let me know if I missed anything obvious.

I'm a graduate concept artist and I have to say, this is exactly what I was looking for when I went googling for animal generators for drawing exercises. I'll be coming back again, do doubt.

Exactly the answer you'd expect, probably: more animals!
I'm unsure how many are in there already, and doubtless the number of combos are huge, but you were to add more I'd say included little exoctic beasties and creatures like the ones we only see in the big nature docs like BBC's Planet Earth. Axolotls, horse shoe crabs, vent worms from the deep oceans, etc.
Maybe a gory fun version that combines plants with various fungi like the Cordyceps infections, or perhaps combo some regular animals with mythological, eg variations on centaurs, dragons, kelpies etc.

Bunting is a very colorful bird that lives in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. I'm going to assume you're Australian since you've never heard of one...
Hydras are microscopic animals that usually live in freshwater. They're studied greatly since they do not age nor die. Pretty much anyone past the age of 13 should have learned this in school by now...

Next time it may be easier and less stressful for you to ignore other people's harsh comments, admit that it was a simple mistake, or instantly reply that it was a joke ahead of time. When people get condescending it is easy to become defensive and pointless fights like this have to make you feel stressed and upset. Definitely not worth your emotional well-being haha.
If anything, you can just take that first response as a new zoology fact and now you know what buntings are!
