Story:
May's not from the archipelago. Hell, she'd even tell you she's not from... anywhere. This isn't her place, her world- and most privy to her story might assume maybe she's just crazy. But she believes with her whole heart and mind, that she is not native to this world. And she'd even admit it isn't even her first time being plucked away into a new, strange world either: about her 3rd by now. How she knows this is... unclear.

She wouldn't be able to answer why that is, either. Why it keeps happening, or even happened at all to begin with. But something tells her that it's her destiny. To be ripped away from her home, and placed into new worlds, environments, and watched like a wild animal in an entirely new cage ring.

...She's bitter. Angry, in despair- sometimes it eats away at her when she tries to sleep at night, under the three new moons she's forced to call her own. How hard it is to feel like she belongs here in the archipelago. All these strangers, all types of shapes, sizes, and backgrounds... and even they look like they fit in more than her. Some of them approach her, and talk to her. She doesn't know if she's grateful for it, or confused. But she talks with them all the same. She can never really find it in her heart to be mad at this world's residents- it isn't, never will be, their faults. They are simply natives of the world. And she is not.

Her memories. They are drained from her, and she knows it. She is certain that along with the different lives, there existed different memories; it had to be the case. But no matter how hard she tries, pleads any higher power... she is never granted them back. Perhaps that is the way of things. She's angry about that, too. She can never remember any fine details of her lives.

But there is an outline of them- at least, the most prominent life she's ever lived. That she was-... is, a hero. She is the thread of hope that binds some faraway world together. The luminary to a world still not her own- but the one she made a place for herself in. Where she is the trailblazer and the voice to entire continents of people. All sorts of diverse, wonderful, beautiful people. At one time, she was bitter to those people too. But... they loved her. They love her.

And they would want nothing more than the champion to rise again to this new challenge, and do just the same as she did for them. Become their- the archipelago's- Warrior of Light.

Personality:
Stranger: May, at a first glance, is your average friendly staxie. She's talkative once spoken too, smart, and can be pretty funny. Becoming a friend of hers isn't too hard, most of the time you have to just keep up with her and be proactive in your friendship. She isn't very good at maintaining relationships herself. But that doesn't mean she'd ever forget you. She'd never forget a face who treated her with kindness. She'd never forget you.

Friend: May is one of the most reliable staxies you can have at your side. She's always ready to help; she would tell you that she has to. It's... in her nature. No matter how complex or difficult your problem or hardship might be, she can always be called upon, doing her absolute best to solve it all. That's what a Warrior of Light would do.
