Gave him a bit of an update now with a new face and more shading added to him.

Peter is a Stanier 8f who was built in 1935 and brought to Sodor, the following year to help the Midis with the heavy goods work. He worked on the Island for many years, going from being an LMS engine to an NWR engine when British Railways was formed. His time on the railway, for a while, however, would come to an end during the 60s. The crews didn't want to work with him as they were starting to believe that Peter was becoming nothing but bad luck, viewing him as a "death engine" after he had accidentally run over and killed a passenger. Other people started to think the same, eventually forcing the Fat Controller to sell off Peter, much to the dismay of the other engines.

For 20 years he was believed to have been scrapped when in actuality he was bought by the Ministry of Defense for a top-secret project at Balahoo Tunnel, testing the viability of strategic steam reserve during the Cold War. He was eventually rediscovered in 1996 and put back in working order, now painted blue, as a member of the North Western Railway.
