This file is LARGE. Easily the largest I've worked with. Be advised of this when fullviewing! But, it'll be worth it, because you'll be able to see it MUCH better that way.

The word Quiarota comes from a combination of three basic words: quia (Latin for "because"), curio (describing a collectible or object of curiosity), and nota (Latin for "mark" or "sign").

I'm aware there's more text on here than most other breed sheets tend to have...but hey, I'm a writer and I like going overboard. Go big or go home, I always say.

If anyone wants to create a Quiarota, please ask me (either via comment or note!). Odds are, I'll invite you to - but I want to hear about it and see it along the way! I'd also ask that you credit me for the breed and provide a link to this reference sheet on any reference drawing you create for your own Quiarota! <3

Quiarota inherit!

NOTE: For reasons unknown to current study, Quiarota rarely, if ever, inherit the double-overo (or Lethal White Syndrome) gene. Those who study the breed are not sure if this is an evolutionary trick up their sleeve, or something more complex. Perhaps the inexplicable twin phenomenon has some part of this. It is thought by some that any embryo that is conceived with the double-overo gene is simply not viable, and does not develop. This may explain some of the rare instances when twins are not born.
