A pair of M3 A-Grav tanks chug across the Wastelands, spear-heading Mar's offensive to take back the southern plains. The M3s were Haven's first landships to have their main armament (a 150mm recoiless gun and a 90mm yellow eco auto-cannon) mounted in a turret, and the first to be able to fire solid projectiles due to their revolutionary recoilless gun system (RGS). When fired, instead of all the propellant blast following the projectile out the barrel, a large portion is allowed to escape to the rear, providing an inertial force to counter the inertia of the projectile. The RGS redirects the blast out of vents on the turret and chasis that correspond with the posistion of the gun, thus allowing the landships to remain stable and mobile while firing. Due to these massive amount of eco gas being forcefully vented, M3s could not be supported by infantry and as a result many crews rigged the hulls with spikes, barbed whire, and directional explosives in order to keep metalheads from climbing onto their landships.Related content

long ago when i beat the 2nd game there where tanks kinda like this at the meatl head nest where they in any way your insperatin for the desin or did it just pop in your head that tanks like this look epic?

Of course they were the inspiration! I always try to incorporate design elements from the games into my fan work, that way my creations feel grounded in the J&D world. These tanks are meant to be the predecessors to the tanks seen at the nest at the end of the game.
