I know I said that I wasn't going to do any more fan art before. But I can't resist doing this comic based off of the weekday sonic cartoon episode "Tails' New Home". Most of the comic it's self was done in Paint. Yes that's right paint. While the word balloons and text were done in Photoshop CS2. Baby Tails and teenage Sonic are in color, while the background is blue and black. Kind of like Sonic's flash back in the episode. Enjoy.SIDE NOTES: I know I've done a comic like this before, where Sonic's name was Ogilvie Maurice. But now, I decided to do do a different one. Only this time,I've decided to mix two cultures. The "Nikki" part came from the Sonic Manga from the 90's (I think) and the Maurice I think is from the Archie side of Sonic.

Well in the Japanese Manga way way back in the I think Early 90's, Sonic was "Nikki". A shy hedgehog boy who would turn into Sonic when ever he wished hard enough to help a friend. I think that's how it goes.

In the games his name has always been Sonic. In the mangas, Nikki is a completely different individual because Sonic is revealed to be some kind of spiritual entity later in the series. In the Archie comics, his name is indeed Ogilvie Maurice. SEGA of America tried to make his name Sonny in the Sonic Promo-Comic but it was thankfully retconned by Sonic Adventure 2, deaming it non-canon to the games.
