Ah really really cool! I'm reading the Christopher Paolini Inheritance series right now and this reminded me of the Dragon Riders. I picked up Volume 1 of "The Art Of Paul Duffield" recently in my local comic store and i've been hooked ever since!

The first two books in the series are among the best fantasy books for teens. You really get into the main character and her world. The rest is like sequels always are: you might want to consider investing your time in something else.
