This is pretty half-assed.
I'm sorry. :<
I think I'm sort of proud of it,
but it's not all prettied up at all.

My handwriting sucks so, here:

1. Start with a circle.
2. Draw a line where the eye will rest. c:
3. Add a triangle for the shape of/around the eye.
4. Add the eye in the middle. -
(between the right and the left of the bottom line in the triangle. ^^'; )
5. Either darken or erase the TRIANGLE. I darkened mine. <3
6. Just add ears. It's more of a simple triangle, really.
Also, include a line down the middle for where the ear 'cups'. You can optionally add a tuft of fur in the ear.
Notice how the ears are pretty much aligned behind the eye. :3
7. Add a snout*, whiskers, and nose.
*snouts on cats are shorter, less pointy, and somewhat thicker than dog's.
8. Add tufts of hair on head, cheek, and then add the neck.

^-^ Now, all that's left to do is clean the sketch and add a body~
