Personality: He is quite cold, and likes to show his authority over others. Does not kindly take to strangers, and kicks out anyone in the group who disobeys the laws. He has a soft spot for pups, though, and will do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. He is also a master at making plans, and will usually take the lead in carrying them out.
Strengths: excellent eyesight, longer legs, run extremely fast, focused
Weaknesses: paranoid of birds, strict, easily angered
Bio: In the mob where he lived and was raised in, the current male leader became intent on training and taking the pups out foraging a month too early, and it usually resulted in many of them being picked off by eagles. He ended up being a lucky one and surviving, and became an excellent defender of the burrow. Due to the high mortality rate of the pups, the mob became weaker and fewer in number. The meerkats turned on their leader, and kicked him out. Their new leader, who hadn't chosen a mate, didn't do so well either, and weak from a recent drought, died early while on a foraging trip. Steek became separated from his mob, and survived on his own, although attacked by an eagle once and scarred on the face. He journeyed to the Red Cliffs, finding the Yamiti, and became the dogon to the gang.
