Personality: Vinsaptr is a bit of a rough stallion, and has shown signs of minor trust issues from his abandonment by his original owner (is is theorized by Varakki that he was passed around through trainers before arriving at the Hall, as well). He is a bit stubborn under saddle and significantly more so in hand, but with enough goading he can be persuaded to move. He seems to have a distaste for a stable, but once he realizes his duty for the day is a long trek in the wilderness, he is much easier to handle.

History: Vinsaptr was brought to Varakki hall by a boarder, a son of a wealthy man who's interest in equitation was purely in investments. Said son did not stay long- the truth of the matter was that he had a fantastical idea of what Varakki was, and the down-to-earth, old-style working stable did not suit his interests. Neither, apparently, did the fancy stallion of an emerging breed his father had bought him. Back at home they mostly kept Arabians and employed riders to do the races for them. The Silvaester had been bought due to its newness and, apprently, some hype in the southern hemisphere, but the arching roman nose was a subject of distaste for the rich son. He abandoned Vinsaptr at Varakki when he left with his other horse to return home.
Neither owner wanted to get rid of a left-behind horse, but Alexi advocated most for Vinsaptr's keeping. The stallion, who had a western name that Alexi quite vocally deemed unsuitable, renamed him Vinsaptr in the tradition of keeping an old norse theme; the name is derived from rough norse for left back, or left behind, as the stallion was.

Trivia:
- Has a scar on the left side of his face, probably from his youth.
- Hates modern saddlepads, prefers old-style tack or simply a padded saddle.
- Chews the wood of his stall.
