Well, his parents wanted him to be a girl instead of a boy.
So they made him dress like that everyday to pretend he was a girl.
You know that woman who writes stories about child rape?
The one you bullied until she didn’t know how to cope with life anymore
Her uncle has been in jail for the past eleven years.
He raped her daily for seven years of her life.
What about that guy who favored abstract artwork?
Do you remember him he liked to use the colors red and black a lot.
He was nearly beaten to death when he was fourteen.
He only knows nightmares because he remembers seeing his blood on the wall.
What about me? Do you remember me? Even just a teensy little bit?
You bullied me because you thought I used a fictional character in the wrong way.
Well, I’ve been beaten, sexually harassed, and neglected by my family.
Do you think its a coincidence that I had the same things happen to the character I wrote about?…

I'm thinking about doing something- not really a story, just something with instructions meant to test your imagination. Its something I tend to do myself, so I want to see how others respond to it.

You are in a forest. Close your eyes, take a deep breath. Focus- listen.
Do you hear the birds? Can you hear their quiet song? The gentle tune of wing-beats and loving whistles. They sound pleasant in your ears, and as you tilt your head back they urge you to simply relax and let the wonders of nature ease your spirits.
Open your eyes. Take another breath. Can you smell the forest? The deep, earthy scent? The pine, and the oak? Breathe again- catch it. The faint smell of flowers hits your nostrils. Faint, barely noticeable- but alluring. Pick a direction- which way do you go? Follow your nose- let the scent lead you the right way.

I can't describe how beautiful this was... it lets those people that are known for critizing others' art in a bad way that he or she should think before they speak.. the last two lines shocked me.. i never thought you experienced those awful things.. o.o

A lot of people never have- probably because of my behavior.
I'm kinda messed up mentally, but in a strange way- I've more or less lost the ability to respond emotionally to a lot of shit. Unless its something that effects me directly (A.E. My grandfather's suicide and the death of my dog), I'm not effected by it. What's happening with MoKaLo and such is triggering emotions I RARELY feel, which is why its starting to effect my health- my body isn't used to it.
My mother beat until I was 13 and neglected me until I moved out at 19.
When I was 7 my 6 year old brother tried to rape me.
When my mom learned to stop physical abuse, she turned to mental/emotional.
The only thing I haven't had happen to me is rape- which I hope never happens.

Yeah... In any case- going through what I've gone through helps me better understand people. I'm more or less the therapist among my group of friends.

that's good... and even though you went through a lot you're still strong.. and in all honesty i've never experienced nor witnessed anything like this but i'm sure it took a lot to be open with what you went through which is why i respect you... and other people like you deserve to be respected. also i'm sorry to hear about how this unjust crap with Mokalo is affecting you, just stay strong and (hopefully anyways) everything will work out. And know this if you ever need anything just note me, it can be over anything it can even be a vent/rant

Thank you- and yes, its taken me years to be willing to admit all of this, especially the sexual harassment. I only became willing to speak about that a month or so ago- until then no one knew about the incident aside from my brother and I- and my brother has piss poor memory.
In the end I just accepted what had happened and decided to get it off my chest- and seeing as I've lost my faith in paid professionals, I decided to let the people I knew online know about it.
The Internets a huge place- someone is bound to understand where I'm coming from.
I guess that's all I really want. Understanding.

no problem, yeah i can see where you're coming from when it comes to losing your faith in paid professionals. About 4 years ago, i suffered from a minor case of depression. My mom got me to see a therapist, i did feel a little better but not 100% better. In the end I realized that the only people that could help get through it was my family and my closest friends at the time and ever since then I have been feeling better since. I haven't really been depressed since that time. I agree the Internet is a huge and different world and yeah someone's bound to understand you

I don't trust therapists because most of them don't understand what I've been put through- they haven't suffered the way I have. So speaking to them and hearing their advise- I don't believe that its heartfelt. I believe that everything a therapist tells someone is a phrase or an opinion based solely on technicality and what they'er required to say. There's little to no real compassion or sympathy- its all pity. I hate pity.
So talking to someone online who knows what I've been through- that means more to me than the word of 1000 therapists.
