I tried drawing a zebra, but i wanted to give it a little extra abstract twist, so I added a crosshatch fade to the stripes, and didnt outline him very much, to make him look slightly insubstancial.Please let me know if you think it looks effective.

I think it's a pretty unique idea, the cross-hatching does help keep it looking smooth.
