I know this is a (really sad) joke, although some people don't take it as one, so...
Obviously he didn't die because he's in later maps. This is in the trailer for 'Der Riese'.
In the trailer he just goes down. Also, Tank's down way before him. At the end of the trailer it's just Richtofen and Takeo. Tank gets swung at by a zombie and the video goes to an explosion, I think. Then it's just the three of them getting in a teleporter, seconds later Nikolai gets taken down. Nikolai even speaks at the end too, way after he is down.
Tank, Nikolai and Takeo die but that's not mentioned until Black Ops 2. Which is really, really sad since the new group really sucks. Richtofen is the only good part of Nuketown Zombies...

But, yeah. I guess it's pretty warm since it's summer and all. I don't really go outside though and I'm pretty far north, so it's not as warm as it would be by the Gulf.
Unfortunately, today was the first day that I actually spent over 4 hours outside without going swimming.
