Wonderful tones indeed. I like the comp and the mood. Is this low exposure intended? Because I think some more light can do nice

Thanks. Well, it was pretty dark at the time - I could barely see if I was walking through rock pools or on dry rock (although the wet shoes is a bit of a giveaway). Yeah, I could lighten up the foreground a bit more but I didn't want to pull it too far away from reality. I took a single raw exposure, processed it twice (once for the sky and once for the foreground) and blended the exposures in PS, with a few further tweaks (dodging/burning, contrast, sharpen, etc.). Perhaps I'll revisit it another time, but I've got heaps more to process (and a wedding to shoot in a few weeks) so that'll do for now.
